8月26日,江門中微子實驗(JUNO)勝利完成2萬噸液體閃爍體灌注并正式運行取數。歷經十余年籌備建設,該實驗成為國際首個運行的超年夜規模、超高精度中微子專用年夜科學裝置,試運行首批數據顯示其關鍵機能指標周全達標或超預期。
該探測器位于廣東江門地下700米處,可探測53公里外臺山、陽江核電站的中微子,以超高精度九人座機場接送測量其能譜。焦點為2萬噸液體閃爍體中間探測器,置于地下實驗年夜廳水池中心,由直徑41.1米不銹鋼網殼支撐,搭載有機玻璃球九人座包車、近4.5萬只光電倍增管等關鍵部件,通過探測中微子與液閃感化的機場送機優惠閃爍光開展研討。
